Flaminio Vocational Training Center (FVTC) was founded in 1989 by Late Flaminio Mirieli (Italian) with permission and support of the Late Rt. Rev. Frederick Drandua, the 1st black Bishop of Arua Diocese.
The first Principal to head the Center was Rev. Sr. Patricia Asiimwe, of the Missionary Sisters of Mary Mother of the Church (MSMMC). She was succeeded by six other members of the same Congregation.
That year 1989, the school was called Flaminio Tailoring School because its aim was to train girls and young women who had dropped out of school, and equip them with skills to empower them in the business world as tailors. Now the school has introduced many other vocational courses and its enrolment has increased greatly from 5(five) students to 1,000 (one thousand) students in annually.That’s why its name has changed to.....
